Paige Lalanne

On the Court

After a successful high school career at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary, Paige played post secondary basketball at Capilano University for one year. Following her first season she was forced to end her playing career due to an injury. A standout on her St. Thomas Aquinas team, Paige was awarded team MVP in 2012, 1st team All-Star for the North Shore, 2nd team All-Star at the BC Catholics Championships and 2nd team All-Star at the Lower Mainland Championships; she was also awarded several tournament MVPs.

Paige has previously coached the grade 5 girls basketball team at Holy Trinity Elementary School and is looking forward to assisting our head coaching staff at New Heights Basketball Academy and developing into a head coach.

Off the Court

Paige is currently studying to be a high school teacher where she hopes to teach English and Physical Education. Her eagerness to give back to the community through coaching is unmatched and we couldn't be more excited to have Paige join our coaching staff.

"I was always inspired by my coaches. They inspired me to challenge myself, and to always play with my heart. Playing basketball was like living in a whole new world. To be able to inspire kids to feel the same kind of passion I have for the sport, is incredibly rewarding."
